Another dodgy eBayer to watch for

Hi guys,

Keep an eye out for acaug01 on eBay. He had a Faried card up for grabs (value $8) that had gone unsold at least 4 times from memory. I placed a bid on it as I needed it for the PC, and not long after a huge bid of $100 was placed and then immediately retracted to be just under my max bid.

Going through the other buyers stats he has placed 74 bid retractions on the sellers cards, and 100% bid activity with him too. Doing some further research the card sold from this seller to this buyer back in August yet it seems the product never changed hands.

Have spoken to eBay and they are taking action however in the mean time stay well away unless you want to pay a premium!

Auction ended just before, seller contacted me immediately to see if I wanted to bid on anything else I had. Told him no as I was suspect of the above and has requested that he invoice me the original $ I bidded rather than me going public with that information.

Haven't responded yet so ill let you know if anything major happens next.
