Another Case of Boosting?

Watched this card go up and up and up over the last 2 mins.

And then they stopped...

Still, less than my max bid, so I'm happy with the card for that price, just slightly shattered I got shilled at the end...

But, a Silo /25 with 3clr patch for around $30AU! Now, to find the #05/25 version.... (bought this one as it was "Devon Harris"). IF I miss the #5, then I have this one.

pretty good pick up man considering the big prices these cards are going for, and yes it would seem the seller has boosted the price at the end but you still got a steal i reckon

Although I am not sure how you can be certain it was shilled/boosted by the seller? I know there are a lot of people that use the tactic like this to scare other bidders away. Instead of just posting their max bid, they post dozens of bids in smaller increments to make it look like their is a lot of people bidding.

The guy has 1% with the seller and over 2200 bids in the last 30 days. Yes there is 3 retractions in 6 months, but that is probably not bad with the amount of bids he does?

The funny thing is that I saw that card listed, then thought you might like it, but when I saw it wasn't 5/25, I turned away! lol

I think that's a very nice price for that card, so I wouldn't over think it too much. A lot of my bids get bumped in the end seconds, mostly I think it's people watching and waiting to bid in the hopes of getting a steal.

Yeah I never actually considered that, just saw the $1 increments all the way up until my actual bid (not that they were to know). First reaction I guess.
