Wow, thats really interesting about 8088 edge. I contacted him a while ago about the possibility of purchasing a case of 2005 power from him, I asked to see if he would be willing to come down in price a little and he basically told me where to go. you know "the product is sold out this is the only case you will find" etc etc. I didnt realize he was sitting on heaps of the product lol.
Anyway, back to the point, yeah that was a great idea about outsourcing the production of jersey cards. But they will have some sort of reason why they wont. Cost issues, custom issues, the nrl wont let us, or whatever other lame reason they come up with.
To simply say, it is too costly to produce and we will never make them again, thats just not good enough in my opinion. Find away to do it.

Wendell leaving is good for St George but bad for the game...his time had passed as a player but he is a much needed character.
I hope MB gets back to full fitness because he is an exiting player and great to watch...although last I heard he is already going to miss the first 2-3 months of the season.......

Unfortunately that is the view of many companies, including Select. I can't believe they don't realise that if they go the extra mile for the customer (which is the only reason the company exists) then they will be repaid by higher sales and greater interest in the product.
You just have to read through these boards to see how much demand there is for jersey cards, it would be a great gesture by Select if they actually produced some more. I'm sure they would see a result in their bottom line, because there are a lot of people disillusioned with Select right now, that could be turned around.
