Am I being paranoid??

Hey guys,

Just need your expert opinion on this matter. I'm currently attempting to complete the 2010-11 National Treasures RPA #/99 and came across:

So I placed my bid and was then bidded up to my max bid by a buyer with only 6 feedback. I thought "he also must want the card" but then I clicked on the bidder and found that he'd placed 20 bids in the past month, 100% of the bids have been with this seller. Not just on this item but at least another RPA I missed out on after he'd outbid me, then retracted his bid but revealing to all my highest bid. (Item number: 141006195232)

Am I just being paranoid or is something more sinister going on here? I have retracted my bid because I believe I'm being shilled, what do you guys think please?

To be politically correct....

SOMEONE is manipulating the bids, but there is not real proof that it is the seller. 100% bidding is only over 4 items, so it is not conclusive! But odds are he probably does know who is doing it!

At the least, he would have received an email when the bid got retracted, so he should be able to tell you who it was!
