hey guys im a newbie here..
just curious to hear what peeps do with the common or base card sets after they bust a box if you already have a set of commons?

I grabbed a box a mpnth or so ago and got sweet f all..was spewin..

whats the best haul you have had?

hello and welcome
well with common sets i have completed i still have the doubles in the box they came in in case others want them for pc or sets

the seller will send you the hits and keep the base cards saving a little on postage and curing a box break itch quick lol

I usually give them to my newphews.. They love them.. And it sorta makes them behave.. Haha

I recently bought a 2010 AFL Champions box (I already have the common set). Just seems that most people don't want to buy the common sets...

Also, I found that about 9 packets of cards in the box came without the foil die-cut guernsey cards..arent there meant to be 1 in every pack?

I keep the better cards and make up player lots (Kobe, Lebron etc), then there's a few teams I look out for because of people here who collect teams (TWolves, Pistons etc) then I throw the rest away usually, take up too much space otherwise!

I bust a LOT. Check out my youtube channel. I normally try to build a set if its a lower end product then i pull out the big names whether it be basketball/baseball or hockey. I actually need to move quite a few things on ebay as I've got a 1000 count box full of jersey swatch cards. Once i've built that lower set, i tend to throw the rest in the bin.

I do get requests from some to send them base cards which i normally do for shipping + handling fees. Very small.
