Hey guys,

just curious peoples opinion on how best to deal with this situation...

Sold some items on ebay to a guy and had no problems, sold again, no problems, then he messaged me asking for a bulk order at special price. I agreed to it as long as he did gift/friend due to the fees and the low price which he agreed no problem. He then paid regularly as goods n services incurring me some nice fees, which I just copped on the chin and said nothing.

Sent the order, with tracking and tracking shows as delivered.. a week later... he msg saying he never received so even though tracking showed otherwise I sent a replacement order (~700 value) again with tracking but also signature required to cover myself. Replacements arrive, signed for and no contact made regarding any problems... noww.. 10 days later he contacts saying that some of the items were damaged and he wants another replacement which I disagree too, he says refund half the money, I say no. I give him 1 option of a refund is if I can collect in person and refund cash to which he declines...

So, although he cant directly leave me negative feedback or anything it's seeming he doesn't want to give up on his crusade for free stuff. Should I just remain pleasant but decline and see where it goes i.e he gives up and leaves me alone? or should I try sort it out to eliminate any backlash? (although were would it end?) is he entitled to charge back this amount? is it worth me fighting if he does?

So far sent 1400 worth of stock and received around 380 after fees and 350 after postage.. a 2nd replacement would set me almost 1800 down for a seemingly straight forward simple deal. Worst part is it's such a good deal he got, why can people be so cruel?

If that person has paid via goods and services through paypal, I would open a case against that person. Let ebay/paypal sort it out. It's good that you sent both lots with tracking.

Unfortunately there are some in this great hobby of ours, who are just in to get what they can, when they can.
Just hold your head high, you did the right thing by the customer above and beyond.

You didn't say anything when he just paid you normally - costing you money.

You then sent him a new order once he said it didn't arrive - despite tracking showing it did arrive.

This buyer sounds like they are going for broke and getting whatever they can.

Personally I'd state your position and leave it at that. If the buyer wants to take it further, IMO you've done more than enough.
