NEED 2008-09 PMG GREEN
hi guys.
how have we all been as of late??? havent set up a mailday in a few weeks now and had a few nice cards pop up that are worthy of a nice mailday thread
. i also had a few other very nice cards incoming that i was gonna wait on before i set up this thread, but heck might aswell put these up from now and not over-crowd my next mailday i reckon . righto thnx for lookin, & plz share my passion for this hobby:
I reckon we have to start her off with some very nice MJ inserts. have always wanted these ones, and now rapt to actually own them.
righto this first one i had to replace back to my PC cos I sold it to Mikey aka tss501 a few months back, so now she's back home again. from the AIRTIME DEPARTURE set, this is the most rare of the 10 made, being card number #AT10:
now heres one more card to add to the trio parallel set of this kind. from the 1996-97 Fleer DECADE OF EXCELLENCE set, this is the METAL DECADE parallel (goes nice with my regular D.O.E 1 i already had, just need the ULTRA DECADE parallel now):
OK i dont think u can beat 90's refractors of MJ and so when this bad boy popped up and for cheap (considerin it was graded a 9mint by PSA i think it was), i thgouht i'd grab it. really happy with the condition on it, man immac i tell ya. from the 1996-97 Finest MYSTERY FINEST BORDERED REFRACTORS:
righto the following card below ive wanted for so long now but everytime i tried to bid on 1 on ebay, i get outbid in the dying minutes. ended up scoring this badboy at a very nice price too, and really happy with the condition too. from the Hoops insert set of HOOPERSTARS:
the next card here is one ive already had for a number of months now, but thought i'd slap it up on here considring its a new scan of the card and it turned out a treat. from the 2008-09 Metal PRECIOUS METAL GEMS Red #ed/40 set:
now the next card was an absolute nightmare to scan up nicely. ended up getting a very nice result in the end with a bit of "tweaking", but it sure as hell helped show the true look of it. from the 1996-97 Metal NET-RAGEOUS insert set:
righto the last of the MJ's is to show the completion of the 2008-09 UpperDeck STARQUEST parallel set i was goin for. glad to see it finally finished, and man do they look SICK all together too. thnx to Dylan for hookin us up with the last piece of the puzzle, which was the Un-Common parallel. check them out all togheter:

righto we'll move now from MJ and kick it in with some 2008-09 Skybox Metal Universe PRECIOUS METAL GEMS inserts that im trying to complete. was rapt to get this GREEN #ed/10 bad, and a huge shout-out to Minh aka crackberry for hookin us up with the Ajinca RC, apprecaite matey. all together, I got a number of the RED's aswell, but I'll only show the GREEN ones for now. Of Alexi Ajinca RC, Jamario Moon, Jermaine O'Neal, & T.J. Ford:
OK now we'll move onto the GU/Auto's of the day. got this really really nice Dwight Howard DIPLOMATIC Auto from a trade i had goin, labelled as being SHORT-PRINT & a very very nice card too:
from D12 we'll move onto some great 90's players. really really love this 09-10 SP GameUsed RETRO RC EXCLUSIVES #ed/25 Auto of Grand-mama Larry Johnson, very nice card in-hand:
now another great player of the 90's, the bulls sensation in Steve Kerr. just got this card yesty & it was gonna be a strictly PC card, but then was OD'ing at the damage on the right hand corners and some of the edges. OD'ing hard! from the 2008-09 Ultimate Collection SIGNATURE MATERIALS LEGENDS PATCH AUTO #ed/5:
OK now onto the side PC collection of the 3rd 90's great, none other than Anfernee Penny Hardaway. the first one from the SIGNATURE JERSEYS set i already had, but it was just a plain blue jersey relic on it. this new one i picked up is just CRAZY with the Phoenix SUNS LOGO of the Ball from the front of their jerseys. im pretty sure this is a legit patch too, cos its not an embroided patch, its actually part of the jersey material:
and the next new Penny card to the PC is this really really nice and early 2000-01 Ultimate Collection ULTIMATE SIGNATURES BRONZE Auto #ed/200. in shmick condition too considering it came in a 9.5 gem-mint grading case from one of them bodged no-name grading companies, so busted it staright away :
OK now for the finalee. totally totally stoked to have this second one in. that makes it 2 now that i own, which im really proud of i must admit. I alreayd had the Sony Weems, now i present you with the Chris Douglas-Roberts ULTIMATE LOGO ROOKIE PATCHES #ed1/1 (i'll let the card do the talking, & goes sweet besides the Weems RC one i already had):
righto heres another sick piece i picked up this week. got it in a sweet trade with Blazers_Fan, thnx mate ur a legend. signed by Shawn Kemp and authenticated by UpperDeck Authenticated with genuine serial number label. OD'in somewhat though cos it didnt have the COA certificate that matches serial numbers with the one on the ball. but if any1 has any info or advice on a way to possibly get one that would really be apprecaited. cos i know 100% the balls legit, the auto is spot on, plus the UDA serial number on the ball is legit too. any help would be great, cos i was just gonna contact upperdeck & see what they say otherwise. cheers
