Big Melbourne City supporter here, Mooy is my favorite player. So knowing that, I'm walking out the post office just then with 2 boxes of A-league cards and folder sent to me by Diggaz, and guess who walks in and I bump into, yes Aaron Mooy and what do I do, I stare at him and say hey then continue to stare and he gives me nothing, I then proceed to apologize for staring and he says nothing the whole time, I get out and see his wife and I go, I guess that happens a lot and she gives me a evil look and goes sometimes.

I feel like a dick, at least I didn't ask him to wait for me to open my boxes and get him to sign his card.

Anyone had similar experiences?

I have run into quite a few roar players in brisbane and they have all been really friendly and stopped for a chat...
My most embarrassing one would be when i ran into liam miller at ikea not long after he signed. He was friendly enough till i pointed out the huge frame in my hand was for my signed jersey from the previous year winning! He pulled a strange face and only after wishing him luck for the new season and parting ways did it dawn on me that he gave away the pen that won us that gf

I got a photo with him after a game as he tried to walk away, his excuse was 'It's raining but'. He told me to hurry up with the photo so he could proceed to walk away.

That's a hilarious story........mine was asking a player (on an opposing team NRL team) to sign his card for me (which I was getting for someone) and him pointing out that the card I gave him wasn't him......that was awkward!

I think the just shocked him as he shocked me but I got the impression he didn't want to chat which is fair enough he was out with his family on a non game day.
