Aaron Davey Gone?

He has been offered a 3year deal at Melbourne and that seemed certain until Essendon offered him a 4year deal. This happened a few years ago but this was involving Alwyn to come play with his big brother at the Dees. I am hoping Aaron doesnt leave, but if he does I think he would be worth a high end first round draft pick, he in better than McLean

yeh i heard this as well on the radio this morning that he was going to essendon... this would be a huge blow to the dees

maybe the lure of playing with his brother is too difficult to refuse??

But at Melbourne he is now the Leader of the Indegiounis(that how you spell it) players, Jurrah, Jetta, Bennell etc. are young and I thought Davey would be excited about that.

I just got an sms from Jim Stynes saying Davey has signed with us for 4 years.

I dare say its a lot more than we wanted to pay him too and its two years more than what we initially offered him but he is a star player and definately needed at the club. I would of been feral if he had of walked out on the club.
