A test for all of you SUPER knowledgeable card purveyors - Help me please!!

Ok so, I'm beginning to get some cards for a display and I would like to have my All-Time Starting 5, BUT the hard part. I want them all to be the same set.

So, Does anyone know of any sets, preferably low #'d inserts/parallels, Autos or Patches, that have ALL of the following players in the set

Shaquille O'Neal
Carmelo Anthony
LeBron James
Allen Iverson
Magic Johnson

Any assistance would be great. I do know of one - Prizm - But the Gold Prizm's are a wee bit expensive. I could look into the Green Prizms but would like to know if anyone has any alternatives.

The teams only two teams I'm fussy about is Shaq has to be ORL or LAL and Iverson has to be PHI or DEN

Sounds like a great plan Matty. Unfortunately i would not have a clue but surely older sets would give you the best chance to contain all 5. I would start with 03/04 and work my way up from there

Haha, only problem...

Melo & LeBron drafted in 03/04 and can't afford RC's, next logical step is 04/05 season.

Shaq left LA 04/05... So I'm thinking it'll need to be a newer set as none of the teams match up.

Of course in my wisdom I knew 03/04 is Melo and Lebrons RC year but it would probably make it easier to get the 5 cards together and not all releases from 03/04 are overly expensive

You could go for the #d /10 platinum versions of these (or even the 1/1 blacks if you feel up to it )



Shaq does have both the Orlando, and LA variants (couldnt find a pic)
Just not sure whether they did platinum versions of the variants...

I thought about this... I know they didn't do the platinum for the variants but I did consider just the base, it is /299 so it is an option.

I really like this idea.

Go for the /10 versions and maybe just have Shaq as a Laker/Magic /299? The card will still be low numbered because of the variation.
