Mods - Is there any chance you could include and option that we can delete our own posts ? It makes it easier to tidy up mistakes or things you no longer want public.....

Actually i think thats a good idea, like with the Wantlist area where we can delete them...

Yes.

And no - that function will not be made available. All users should think about what they are posting thoroughly before posting. If there is any chance/doubt that you may want to delete it in the future - don't post it.

You can edit the content of all your posts. This would allow you to just delete everything you've written if you really wanted to.

Yes I think I know that dude but what if you just want to DELETE a post all together ?!? You can't do it, instead you have to edit your thread and just fill it with lines or something !!!

Thinking before posting negates the need for it. Double up threads etc will be cleaned up anyway. Deleting of threads with others comments in it isn't up to the original poster. Otherwise it could be majorly abused.

Thanks for your response Chad - I am asking to be able to delete my own POSTS not threads! (As per my first post)

Deleting a thread should be allowed if there are no replies too ! So what is the reason for not allowing us to delete our own posts ??? (When the post is NOT the beginning of a thread).

In response to your witty comment about thinking before posting - Yeah that is going to happen with everyone
The fact that you can edit removes the need for that anyways !!! All I am asking is the ability to be able to delete my own posts, what is the harm in that ???
