A SELECTive mailday (plus some others)

Quality over quantity in this mailday - and it could just be my first ever one without a Kenneth Faried card in it!

Had a nice little care package from @Reignman40 today, a nice one for the Reggie Miller side PC inside


Had these come in for the Tmac side PC in a nice trade with @shnapper27




Decided to bust a box of my favorite 12-13 product, Select, with Cherry last week. A few nice rookie hits, got a nice range of inserts (Lebron All Star Selections), prizm version base of Eric Gordon, Steve Nash, Marcin Gortat...

...and was lucky enough to strike GOLD! Not a huge value player - but he sure is having a ripper of a season none the less! Arron Afflalo - 2/10

Im currently on the hunt for some Golden Friends to go with it, if you have any up for grabs please let me know!

And finally, you've all seen my talk about this set - and I'm sure some of you are sick of it... but had this one come in from @Dogs2194

In Flight Prizm Derrick Rose 13/25 which now gives me 9 in hand and another 6 incoming!

The selects have some nice inserts and designs. After prizm this year I'll be interested to see if they bring back select and if so, how much it'll vary.

The t-mac patch is sweet. I also think of him in his hey-day as opposed to with the Rockets where he had the better teams.

They all look super mate congrats!

BTW, no showcase love for the TMac RC's I sent ya? Guess not as important as the In Flight Prizms!

Watching T-Mac highlights even now gets me pumped up before a game. Whether its the old '13 points in 30 seconds' thing or lobbing it to himself off the backboard in traffic he sure was a special player. I hope he makes it to the Hall of Fame one day, however I think he may be waiting a while.

I think with the increased colors in this years Prizm, Select may be a hard sell. As much as I hope they re-release it, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave it a year off or moved it to the back end of the year so it isn't so close to very similar product.
