a premium poll - what set to collect??

hey all,

been pretty quite on here for the last 8 months or so.
mainly as i haven't had regular work at all this year.
and as such pretty much killed any budget i had for cards,

but times have changed as i just picked up full time work again, which means my budget may get a little bumpo soon.

so... when i lost work i had to sell some cards and the ones i miss the most are the
2004-05 ultimate patches set i was chasing.

so the question is what set do i start to go for again.
thinking ultimate collection again,
but this time something a little nicer.
either.
2004-05 premium patches (42 card set)

2005-06

2006-07

so whats year is your fave??

looking at a budget of about $100 a month,
one card (maybe two cheap ones) a month, also quite a few cheapys i could knock off as i find em.
with the money left over each month to save up for the heavy hitters.

opinions appreciated.

My order would be 05-06, 04-05, 06-07. Depends also maybe on who is in the set, could swing 04-05 into poll position

First two years are pretty much the same set.. 42 cards.
06-07 has 60 cards. A lot more bums in it.

The 04/05 is my favourite, then the 05/06. But both are scarce nowadays, and expensive.

04-05, 05-06, 06-07 for me

Still trying to track down the Kobe & Lebron from 04-05, already have the other 2 years, they always sell for a lot more than the other 2 years

The '04-05 may not be as flashy as the rest but it's more of a classic set in my opinion. You cannot go wrong with any of them though

04-05 hands down IMHO.

I just really prefer that design over the others
