Well it wasn't that easy, but despite a few run in with;
shilling sellers: second chance offers, same winning bidder on numerous relistings ; and
dodgy traders: who posted the card, then was sick so couldn't post the card , then sent it but forgot to register it, then said it's probably lost but would not cooperate in a compromise, then when asked for a scan of the front of the card (so I can see the serial number to track it if it comes up) could not find the scan of the front of the card, but miraculously has the scan of the back of the card, all at the same time selling/trading off all the cards I gave to him in the trade on the day he received the card (which arrived within 7 working days to him)
Anyway I've finally completed this awesome set! From A to L
Well done man, I know when I sold my Rose/Mayo/Beasley it went for a ess-h-IT-load and the cheaper ones seem to have picked up in popularity lately so it would have cost a pretty penny!
thanks for all the comments everyone was a challenge but lots of fun and albeit being redemptions I think these being longer print runs made it a lot easier
all I can say after finishing this set is the bigger respect i have for people like Steve and Graeme - just to name two. patience was definitely the key and I almost lost it several times for a 12 card set - i can only imagine what 100 or 200 short printed cards would do to me
WOW!!! . the thing about the 08-09 exquisite rookies is there are some reallllllllly sweet names there. congrats on the completion cracksta, really really nice work mate . thnx for sharing
ps. A B C as easy as 1 2 3. you been watching too much sesame street mate lol. yes yes i know wacko jacko for those that are about to correct me on that one . take care brother
crackalacka minhman! good job and congrats on completing the set! amazing accomplishment though it might have been easier if you just talked to me lol. less drama and probably less money
