Hey guys,

So I posted this earlier on BO, but I'd like to show it off here too, in case any one might be interested...

This is a 270 card set featuring 90 different players and includes well established stars, well rounded role players, hot rookies and a bunch of guys I never heard of.

There are two insert sets featured in the product, Class of '98 (x/500) and Takeit2.net (x/1000). There is a sample of the latter insert further down and the checklist is also shown.

I make it a practice to cover up all serial numbers, I always have, I forgot to do so for most of the cards and only realized it after uploading them...too lazy to go back and redo it so that's why the numbers suddenly start showing up.

You will also notice that some of the scans are more crisp / clean and some of the cards have much more vivid, rich color. This is because post-scan I decided to go in and clean up the scans, when I realized how tedious and time consuming this was, I decided not to do it 90 times. Sorry. :(

I also JUST noticed that the player's jersey number you see in the background of the Row 0 and Row 1 cards matches the font / text style on their actual jersey. Cool!

Check list and inserts:

The Takeit2.net insert set is a 15 card set featuring superstars around the league. The idea behind this insert set is inspired by approaching year 2000 and the growing popularity of the internet. The background is an embossed circuit board and the back of the card features a little blurb about the player where Fleer pretended they were writing emails to the players and used lingo such as LOL, IMHO and emoticons such as

FLAIR LEGACY

Just as with the first two years of Flair Showcase, this year also features the Legacy parallel set. This time around, each row has a Legacy parallel limited to x/99. The Row 1 cards feature the stamping on the front, in the same spot that the base versions are stamped. The Row 2 and 3 cards are stamped on the back, all in blue.

Did you know?

Roshown Mcleod appears on four different cards in this set. This is due to an error on Fleer's part which resulted in a background headshot of Roshown being featured on Michael Olowokandi's Row 3 card.

Michael Jordan was supposed to be a part of the base set, however due to complications with the NBA / Jordan and licensing / photo rights related to him retiring again, he was removed from the base set. However, he does appear in the Takeit2.net insert set, oddly enough. You can thank the boys over at HK for these photos, I'm not sure if it was Leximo, or some one else who posted these up. (Scratch that, it was Leximo and here is the thread: http://www.hobbykings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=126124&sid=f4ec826c24bf54ce613ed7edde7d4d20

Thanks for looking guys, glad you enjoyed the set. Definitely one of the nicest sets out there, love the feel and the shadow box effect on the Row 1s. I hope to master set this (Legacy excluded) by finishing the takeit2.net x/1000 set and the class of 98 x/500 some time in the future.
