94-95 Sets....

Hey guys n gals, decided I'm going to complete some sets from 94-95 as this is when I started collecting, and always meant a lot to me to finish these sets off.

I'll post back later tonight or tomorrow with current checklists but here's a head-up if ya like:

(All are both series' 1 & 2)

Silver Signatures from Collector's Choice (too hard to get Gold's).

I'm unsure on a couple of cards, as to what's in some of the sets, like the Ultra Scoring Kings, and Hoops Big Numbers as Beckett doesnt list them all.

I think you'll find that set to be 95/96, not 94/95.

Yeah those are all 94-95.

The days when I started collecting.

I always wanted to complete sets, but like many others, we tend to lose interest after a while, went on to Player Collections, and forgot about inserts. Left the hobby, got back into it, and now with the chances of being able to pick them up again cheaply, it's my best time to do so, especially with all our members on here!!!!

I got the 2 boxes from the same seller for $5.99ea..... Postage was $49US.... he was such a kind fella, we got it down to $28.50 (3x Large Global Priority Envelopes). He opened the boxes, and put the packs in for me.
It was my decision to go that way.

For that price, I couldnt argue...

Oh and not forgetting that there's an insert in every pack.... that's what I like!!! lol. Pulling inserts was fun, these days there's rarely 1 in a pack, even if it is non-gu/auto etc.

gotta love the inserts!! then you get the 'hot packs' with all inserts

when i went to new york back in Jan 1996 we were walking through times square and went into a sportscard store. i bought (well dad did really cos i was only 12 and had no money of my own LOL) 1 single pack of 95'96 skybox (was collecting that set back home) and managed to get the hot pack :shock: :shock: !! (i think they were like 1 in every couple of boxes :shock: ) i couldnt belive it...i was so happy. i pulled a jordan 'larger than life' which at the time had a BV of $120 and was probably the best card you could of pulled from that set. That was a lot for a card back then!! i still have that card too

I remember the Shaq Scoring Kings card. My mate pulled it and would NOT move it.... oh well. I collected Barkley then too, (still do) and needed the Scoring Kings one, a mate pulled it and traded it to another Chuck collector, so I couldnt have it.... joined Ebay, and got it for $0.50c + $2.00 delivery....
