It's as original as sin. Why wouldn't they put sports cards in cigarette packs. More interesting than flags or flowers.

Also from the great depression era , so a little card to take your mind off the fact that not only are you broke and starving, but also choofing your way to cancer was the least they could do!!! Thanks again Ron! Are these rare cigarette cards? Never looked into them nor seen one in hand, intrigued now, trying to pull me back to the cricket fold???

U no foolee. Come home all is forgiven. Card not particularly rare unsigned. plenty of 1934 sets around.

Surely your den must be full by now!

It is - damn NBA has taken up all the leftover space!!

That Bradman is 100% authentic too mate, probably a 1970s/early 80s sig with the loop at the bottom i'd say. Fantastic sig.

Were you the one who got it signed Ron?

Three signatures of Don Bradman. The 1938 card is earliest followed by 1934 card and weetbix card. The 1934 card was signed at a later date than the 1938 card which was signed in the 30's. As Brad said loop signature used 70's/80's. The signed weetbix card was his last signature. The pictures appear in this order:Weetbix/1934/1938.
