Anyone else have a 3D tv? I have a Samsung UA40D6000SMXXY. That means it is a 6th generation 40 inch full HD LED Smart Television. I have had it for about 3 mths and it is fantastic, the Wii and Dreamcast look and work great on it and 3D movies are awesome, watched a lot of NFL games and Superbowl in 3D, so looking forward to the odd AFL and NRL game in 3D this season. So who has a 3D tv and what are your thoughts about them?

I watch more sport than anything and LOVE movies and TV series' but would not buy a 3D TV, just not into it. Got a 50in Panasonic plasma that I've had for 4 or 5 years and love it, hook up the nba tv app on iPad through HDMI cable. Sensational

samsung is the way to go. I am kind of pondering if I should get one or wait to see what OLED tvs look like as they are meznt to have best true colour representation closest to CRTs. I also want to see these rumored glassless 3D TVs. Not sure how good it will be from all angles.

Not a fan of 3D at all. Tends to hurt my eyes. I'm happy with my 65inch Sony LCD that I got 6 months ago.

Wow 65" thats huge lol, when I first watched NFL in 3D I did get a bit confused, after I went through settings and changed a few things no worries. 3D movies are brilliant though

Yeah man it really is huge(thats what she said) especially being thatI live in an apartment with pretty small lounge room. But its worth to watch Seahawks games on

you get used to3d. also new tvs have the submotion crap these days, they claim its refreshrate of like 200hz 400hz etc...

turn that shit off unless watching sport as it makes movies look like soap operas and fake
