Would be good legend cards, as for the rest, i dont give a hoot anymore.I would love to see some new concepts and fresh ideas but from what I have read on other forums, CTRL C , CTRL V from the last two years.
I believe that Legends might go to Brisbane and Parramatta, not confirmed and unsure of players. Gene Miles and Brett Kenny would be crackers.
Hey everyone,
With the new 2023 NRL Traders flyer coming out within the next month and the release expected early March, I thought I’d create this thread to build up some excitement, feel free to write down some of your predictions for all the sigs and what else you’d like to see in the set.
Once again, hopefully we see some change to the layout this year and the same goes with some of inserts.
Something else I’d like to see a change to is the predictors, hopefully we can see different type of predictors such as dally m or like a top try scorer but also change what the premiership predictors redeem for, it’d be awesome to go down the afl cards path by making them redeemable for a signature premiership set.
Cheers, and let’s bring on the new footy season
Take your pick, Grothe, Ella, CroninWill be premiership predictors again, and there may just be some other "new" redemption cards which people north of the border may enjoy.
Outside of that I don't expect any big changes in the release. I think the signers list may also see some extra players much like elite had last year.
I do predict that some of the teams such as the Roosters/Rabbits/Cowboys/Sharks/Storm will all have decent signers (origin/international type players). Just a hunch.
Had also heard a rumour that the Broncos and the Eels will be the teams with a higher value in case breaks and I'm led to believe that its not Kenny but will be another similar HOF player who was a big part of the high "flying" backline.

GuruI think the hint about "flying" in the backline may give it away a little.
Guru
Gotcha, Crow. Not Guru...... Think nicknames...... "flying"
Agree, cheapens the concept. e.g. Dufty as a retirement card would be embarrassing.I hope that they give the Retirement cards to the players who have actually retired, not those going to ESL or another code.
When they give a Retirement card to a player leaving the NRL, it cheapens the set to me. Blake Ferguson was an example a few years back.
Looks like there could be a few $5.00 to $10.00 cards amongst that lot.
Give it 4 weeks post release, TLA prices always plummet.Llooks

I love the set, wished I had chased them from the get-go and not just chased the Canberra Retirees. My other gripe is that a player would appear in the club they last played for, rubbish. Ryan James in a Broncos Jersey, always a Titan, Sam Williams only played 4 games for the Dragons, should be all in green.Agree, cheapens the concept. e.g. Dufty as a retirement card would be embarrassing.
Thank goodness there's no players like Benji or Cam.Give it 4 weeks post release, TLA prices always plummet.
You reckon that's bad? Tom Leahroyd-Lahrs played about 15 minutes in a storm jersey and got a retirement card in storm colours!I love the set, wished I had chased them from the get-go and not just chased the Canberra Retirees. It still hurts me !!You reckon that's bad? Tom Leahroyd-Lahrs played about 15 minutes in a storm jersey and got a retirement card in storm colours!
