It is only the 6 teams that haven`t had one as yet that will get one this year ...Any idea if Newcastle be one of the Spotlight cards in elite? Or will they miss out as they were one in 2020 Elite?
Cheers
What are blue & White paper with sigs for? Sticker Sig?
Players are usually asked to do some practise Signatures before they get started, just looks like Nicho used those for his practise ones. What are blue & White paper with sigs for? Sticker Sig?

This is where I feel for TLA & player selection, I personally feel for a lot of the untoward criticism is not justifiable.Players are usually asked to do some practise Signatures before they get started, just looks like Nicho used those for his practise ones.
Thanks Matt for the update. Could the league sensation from the dragon's be one of the same players that has signed in the last 3 years.
It is a fair point you make however to avoid double ups, can the Authentic series be discontinued? This is where I feel for TLA & player selection, I personally feel for a lot of the untoward criticism is not justifiable.
- 13-15 players per team to realisticly select from.
- We want the “superstars” as Australian sport is different to the US.
- Cards are usually in production 6-8months + in advance.
Let’s look at Storm team, (
biasbut stay with me
Storm has 4 signatures cards this year. Plus players from previous years, which really limits the choices.
1: Pappy
2: George Jennings (Not a club last year)
3: Reims Smith (Not a club last year)
4: Justin Olam
5: Josh Ado-Car ( Signed YG 2017/ leaving)
6: Munster (Signed 2016 YG/ 2020 LS)
7: Hughes (2021 Traders)
8: Jessie Bromwich (Signed 2017)
9: Brandon Smith (2019)
10: Welch
11: Kafusi (2020)
12: Nelson
13: Dale Finucane (Traders 2020)
- Kenny Bromwich (Traders 2019)
- Tui
- Grant (Not at Club in 2020)
- Nicho (Very limited minutes/ leaving)
Add this to the NRLs high turn over rate, of players at clubs. Going to be very difficult to get selection spot on every time without doubling up
