Sydney FC vs Melbourne Victory. Who are you backing?

Pretty obvious who I'm behind :)

Although my membership lapsed a couple of seasons ago I still support Melbourne Victory. Would love to see a nailbiting goal-fest in the Grand Final and with these two teams it could easily happen.

What a great atmosphere it promises to be - Richmond and Collingwood are playing at the MCG and that game starts 40 minutes before the A League kick-off so it would be a huge boost for the league if AAMI Park is packed to the rafters.

I'll be supporting ;):

The stadium will be packed to the rafters, there no doubt about that, the only issue will be trying to get tickets.

Worst average attendance since 2011 and this dispite breaking their own rule by allowing more than one team from the same city. Seriously the A League is on the slippery slide! FIFA may be corrupt but FFA are just downright incompetent

Well on balance I guess it's hard to dispute the championship credentials of Melbourne Victory. They had the most prolific attack and the stingiest defence all season and strangled the life out of Sydney FC today. Besart Berisha becomes the first player to score in 3 A-League Grand Finals, Kevin Muscat the first man to win a title as player and coach.

The game itself - compared to Brisbane Roar's dramatic wins for example - didn't scale any great heights in my view. It just seemed like a normal Home and Away match, albeit very one-sided.

Congrats Melbourne, deserving champions.

As for Sydney, don't think I have ever seen them play worse. I can handle losing, but not when the team plays like they are Sunday amatuers.

The most painful part of the day is Kevin Muscat winning, the guy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near football.

Overall a pretty bad game of football to watch.

Have to feel sorry for Frank Lowy.... poor guy!

Reminds me of two AFL-related mishaps: Carlton's Peter Dean nearly came a cropper after accepting his premiership medallion in 1995 when he tried to hurdle the bar at the front of the podium and in 2008 Tony Shaw almost fell off the back of the podium after presenting the Norm Smith medal to Luke Hodge. Dangerous bloody things, these award presentations!!
