Looks like everyone got the 1st coach sacked wrong and by the looks of the top 8 predictions very few predicted the Warriors to be playing this poorly.

Thought I'd do a quick summary of how my picks are looking now finals are upon us.

Minor Premiers: Check
Wooden Spoon: Missed by 5
Dally M: Was leading at close of open voting at close of round 16
Most Improved: Eels/Panthers improved end of season ladder standings by 6 positions, but Panthers made finals which counts for more I think.
Most disappointing: I don't think anyone could go past Sharks for this. Where do you start. 5th to 16th on ladder, Carney, Fifita contract, ASADA, etc, etc.
Top 8: Check, < 1, < 3, < 4, > 3, > 1, > 3, < 1 (Missed Bulldogs)
1st Coach sacked: I think I missed by a couple of weeks. From memory Price was the second gone for the year after their surprisingly good start to the year while Warriors coach Matthew Elliot was the first gone.
State of Origin: Missed by 1 game. (But so did NSW 7 of the last 8 years )

Cant wait for the finals to start now with Broncos V Cowboys having the two players who were leading the count for Dally M at the end of round 16 with the man I picked to win it going up against one of my teams highlights for the year Ben Hunt facing off against each other.

Hope you all enjoy the finals, may the best team win (not the most poorly penalised team lose) and I'm already starting to wonder what I used to do on Friday nights to pass time for the rest of the year haha.
