Ok,

my boxes arrived today and I've just opened my 1st packs and the base cards are covered in a fine dust. If anyone else comes across this issue can they let me know asap.

There was a post in the basketball section about this from Panini. It is powder to stop these type of cards sticking when being manufactured/cut and is harmless
 
if you buy topps chrome from the 90's they stick together which is quite annoying, so I understand the powder idea.

Buying a product which over 20 years old, I can understand them sticking, but to have all new releases covered in this crap is not on.

Hey Damian, just a quick query to see if you are collecting these 2014 prizm baseball? I got a box on the way from Panini but as I'm not a baseball person I was just going to drop the box on ebay, would you be interested?

There was also a blog about this powder on the knights lance website, they say its a powder to stop the cards sticking
