It wasn't an auction as such - so how are there winners? from my understanding, Mark considered offers (mine included I hope) and then decided who to sell the card to. - where's the harm in that?
Unfortunate there is only one of these cards, but you can't come up trumps all the time. I had come to terms with the fact I wouldn't ever have the Fulton when the cards were released - you can't have everything (as my old mate would say) luck was on my side, I helped a few people and it came back to me. "Katrina" taking pot shots because you (I'm guessing) didn't get the card is fruitless - if you want to make enemies, make sure you're not gonna need them down the track!!

I am not trying to make any enemies at all but after i got low balled on the same redemption card (different player) by every Knights collector out there, enough said. So now i am the bad one because that Knights #001 redemption card went to another collector and by chance a Knights collector won the only card i wanted i was never in the hunt, at any cost. I will remember this as its left a very sour taste in the whole out come. Money was not the overall factor it was who looks after who.

Money is always a factor, otherwise the lowball offers you received for the knights wouldn't have made a difference, you would have sold it to the knights fan that REALLY wanted it, even if the offer was short of what you hoped for. Being loyal is a BIG factor in this hobby.

In the end, the card is Mark's and he can sell it to whomever he pleases. If that leaves a sour taste in your mouth, then thats your right too. I've helped heaps more people than have ever helped me.... I learnt some good lessons along the way! I know who I'll trade with, and who I won't trade with. I have a handful of AMAZING traders on here who have become some of my best friends!

I totally understand and agree with you but when you pay $900AU for a redemption card and get offers nowhere near 1/2 that, thats low balling and thats most of the way collector's work on this site. I wanted my Knights #001 redemption card to go to a Knights collector because i knew it would mean alot to whoever got it from me but when your a serious Broncos collector and also posted the "Original" post looking for the Corey Parker redemption card making the highest offer and still losing out leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. I did nothing wrong, offered the Knights #001 1st to all Knights collector's but "No one" was seriously wanting to pay it's worth. That's why I am pissed off. And to say "Karma" hits me back in the face, what a joke. Katrina

It's common knowledge who the Boyd 001 went to, and for how much. - I seem to remember you not wanting to budge from $1400-1500 for quite some time on it (I could find the posts about it if I could be bothered) My understanding is you sold it for much less than that to another collector. Unfortunately for you, that collector is well known here and not very well liked here or anywhere else - and generally never helps anyone. To add further to your plight, the guy who really wanted it when you wouldn't budge - won a similar card that you wanted.... You couldn't make that stuff up!!
Next time, if you don't want or need a card maybe leave it for someone who really does? Instead of buying it to flip it for a buck, or swap it for the Parker (which would be worth double)

Oh, she's a funny old game card trading....

And any collector can look after whom ever they choose. There's sellers that won't sell to me, and collectors I won't sell to. It's life... Get over it!!

Graham does us a favour by running this site for us free of charge, threatening anything against that is just stupidity.

if the site bothers you that much though, you don't have to login. i hope you've learnt that what goes around comes around, if you help people out it generally comes back to you in one way or another. like anything though you wont get along with everyone and you'll have people who you do and dont deal with but like batboy said make sure you don't need them again before you burn those bridges.

At the end of the day there is only 1 Redemption card but multiple Broncos collectors. The person/people you should be taking your complaints to are ESP for the complete stuff up that this 1/1 redemption card business was not the owner of the card.

Once again you don't know me very well do you Grids? There are members on this site that know what kind of person i am and i would look after anyone expecially if they need a hand in finding certain items. I am getting Steve Smith and Elise Perry to hand sign a few items at work for me just so that others can have these items in there collection's (Yes for free). So dont tell me who's been burning bridges and so forth as when i put up the Knights #001 redemption card for sale or trade i only wanted what i paid for it, no more no less. But once again everyone forgets lowball offers were made and they were not serious. You guys are amazing as i see true colours after this whole saga. Katrina.
