I talk the honest truth, one good game and everyones gone stupid, if he has a great career then all the best for him, name a street or anything after him, but one game. Drob, just because I don't belive and agree with everything you say make my opinons any less value than your "great ones".

i dont think its got much to do with him having 1 good game. its that hes from such a small town, the fact that hes even playing in the NBA finals is enough to name something after him...its not like maryborough has a long list of pro athletes that made it big.
 
See this is where you completely undo any opinion/argument that you may have made and shows that you have put little thought into your argument.

Have they changed the name of the stadium - No! A quick google found a news article reporting that they were "planning" on doing it after he had put the small Victorian town (about 7,000) on the worldwide map. You seriously think they named it after one good game???? How about they are doing it to acknowledge his accomplishment in making it to the NBA Finals. Something that many HUGE stars never get to do and let alone imagine someone from a small town in country Victoria making it - and having a huge impact too!

As Josh put above Longley, Mills and Bogut have come through huge programs to get where they are, have they had things named after them quite potentially - did you go and research before you made that outlandish statement?
Off the top of my head -
Longley - Has a national award named after him from Basketball Australia
Bogut has a huge centre named after him in Carrum Downs
Mills - I dunno, but if I was going to argue it I would research it!
 
Exactly - anyone who has seen councils work, or any executive board for that matter - know that decisions are not made quickly, so this decision would not be based on one good game.
 
See the thing is, if you watch the games, on BOTH sides of the ball, and don't worry about raw STATS (which many of his detractors seem to be doing, not necessarily you...), Rose, Teague, Schroeder and now Curry have all had dips in their production against him, as opposed to against Kyrie or their previous production. But anyway, lets just say you ARE just looking at NBA stats. Andrew Gaze, who's in the Australian Basketball HOF, had 2 shots at the NBA with 2 different teams, and has career NBA stats of: 4.9 MPG, 38% fg, 37% 3ptfg (on less than 1 attempt per game), 0.5 RPG, 0.4 APG, 1.7PPG, and you're worried about Delly having a LOCAL COURT in a country town named after him? Loosen up, matey...

Also, i would think if you were so keen on preserving Bogut's place in Aussie basketball lore, you might want to consider "honouring" him by learning his NAME, perhaps? But i have a feeling you're more about pissing on Delly's parade than correcting any historical slight on "Bogart" anyway, so is it worth getting in a debate over?

Maybe there is a sense of personal attack, but I actually think that his suggestion of putting any member on the ignore list is quite sensible. If another member's behaviour or posts annoys/aggravates/upsets you my advice to any member would be to put them on your ignore list so that you do not see their posts in the future and do not bite at what may have upset you in the past.
Definitely not one rule for friends, one for others I know Drobfan8 as well as I know you Mat2323 and if that is the take you have on it, you need to hold the mirror up to yourself.
 
Sooooo...... Predictions for G5 people?

Warriors go with the same starting line up? Do the Cavs change to match this or keep with what they have been doing?

I think one of the splash brothers will have a big game, help will continue on Bron to get the ball out of his hands but unlike G4 the passes out of this double will result in buckets. Think it will be another great finals game with Cavs just getting up and then closing out at home.

At no point did he call you names or swear. All he said was your posts are garbage.
 
Going by that then you can write that his comments stink like a brown thing I did in the toilet, just because I think that people are going retarded over a couple of good games, and think that all the praise is abit over the top, yet just because I don't agree I'm an idoit, I may be alone thinking this, but atleast I won't get trampled from all the kiss bum club jumping off the bus once delly go's back to his 5 minutes a game and they all jump back off
