I suspect they will:
-re sign Tim cheap to help mentor and transition while playing less minutes
-make a run at Gasol or Aldridge
-get 1 more year out of Pop
-lose Manu to retirement
I think they will be able to stay competitive while they do it too!

Gasol is on the tail end of his career. Aldridge would be a pretty good replacement. Manu has been playing bad this season and Tony has been plagued with injuries. By no means does this exit mean the Spurs had an unsuccessful season, they were so close to being the 2nd seed by a single game and that could have made all the difference in the playoffs.
Not too many giving Memphis a chance. I thought GS showed how they're not as dominant as some thought playing NO. They have some weaknesses that I think MEM will expose. But GS deserve to be raging favourites.
Shattered the Spurs lost but I had a feeling from the start. Clips have a lot of talent there and a great mix of skill.
I'll go with
MEM in 6 (Grind time)
LAC in 6 (if Paul is healthy)
WAS in 6 (could go either way but Wall should dominate Beal)
CHI in 6 (If the Bulls are ever going to get past LeBron, this is the year)
The 2nd round should be a whole lot better than the 1st.
