swinging arm was a dog shot but it was warranted and got the job done, myles didnt do the dog headbutt tackle hes renowned for once more after that. he got hayne with it early and gall had had enough of it.

Mcqueen out and DCE into the 17, As a queenslander i was dissapointed last night we did not play as the team that has won 7 series straight. We deserved to loose. NSW outplayed us. Gallen has been charged with 2 weeks for the high shot but gets 1 week if pleads guilty according to NRL.com so wont miss any origin time.

Boyd seemed pretty quiet last night, even though he scored didnt notice him that much Hodges played well as did Parker and Teo from what i thought. Thurston you could tell wasnt 100% but still i wonder, they said a 70% thurston was still best i dont know if a 70% thurston would have been better than a 100% DCE from what i saw last night i would question that.

Parker in the starting lineup, hannant on the bench and Harrison gone!!!

When he gets a go it will be like Bird. "Built for Origin"

the way he plays he is built for origin, but he doesn't quite have the execution. like his kicking game is hit and miss.. Pearce offered nothing again last night, the few times he did look was all because lewis was running perfect lines like a freight train. the thing with Pearce though is he generally doesn't miss in defence which is more than i can say for most halfbacks.

anyway if last night is anything to go by, maloney will be the five eight for a pretty long time i'd say which is excellent news.

Hoffman and Tamou were probably the only disappointments for the Blues. Gallen, , Bird, Lewis, Farrah, Hayne and Jennings were all great and the rest of the guys did well too. Merrin and Fifita did well off the bench. Farrah has been diagnosed with a broken nose and fractured cheekbone. He works so hard and is tough. He's really is important for NSW and he has been just as good as Smith since he came back into the side.

I think Shillington is overrated and i don't know why he always gets chosen for QLD and often Australia. Last night he ran 52 metres and made 20 tackles which is typical of most games he has played this season. Tamou was virtually identical but he has been playing better than that this year.

Good to see you lot kept your sense of humour.

I got nothin to complain about NSW were by far the better team and deserved the win........no doubt. SOO needs for NSW to step up and win a series or two and they can do that if they just don't keep chopping and changing players. For the sake of NSW I hope they keep their number 1, 6, 7 and 9 for all 3 games.

u have a few good myles vs gallens ones but it might award me a stint on the sidelines, so i wont post them all.

but i think i can get away with this one.

not at all. Just think Parker is a better option and not a fan of Harrison.

Harrison is consistent and tackles all night but he doesn't have alot to offer in attack as he rarely offloads and seldom breaks the line. Harrison would be no good off the bench so he would have to be dropped. QLD are ridiculously loyal, always have been so I don't think there will be that many changes for game 2 unless there are injuries
