Just to clarify the situation, there is no question regarding the reputation or reliability of Glenn from goldcoastcards as a seller.

We received a request from ESP to remove a presale listing. ESP are the owners of the product until such time that the product is released and they are paid for it. As they are the owners of the product, we are obliged to comply with their request.

Yes Ben all is well with presales.

I have just spoken to Terry at ESP and a new thread will be back up later today with some extra promotions kindly supplied by ESP for Case orders. He will be contacting Graham later today to authorize it.

Yes I am really looking forward to this release as I think it will rival Dynasty in popularity which is the benchmark for the last few years in my opinion. The interest in presales is already bigger than Dynasty was......

If pre-selling actual cards is a concern, then they should penalise those that do it. Don't pre-sell, if you do then you won't be getting any stock.

Surely that's a better solution than withholding the checklist and randomly penalising those selling boxes and cases ...

There's probably lots about it I don't understand though.

my thoughts exactly. although i wouldnt mind buying some of those pre sold cards. but i dont think he will honour them anyway

The withholding of the checklist does seem to have made a big difference to the pre-selling of individual cards though. There are still sellers pre-selling base sets and team sets but as far as inserts go, it seems to be only that one seller (who was burnt with the Traders release earlier this year but has come back for more)

That's true, but this method seems to be penalising everybody, rather than only those who are not playing by the rules.

that same seller ruins AFL cards release after release. Shame really, and to do it again with top-level cards is disappointing.

I would also like to say, Glenn goldcoastcards is a top bloke and has taught me most I know (not saying I know everything) about cards and majority of my Titans PC has come from him!
there's not many better people to talk to in terms of cards and always has time for anyone,
Not trying to suck up or anything but I really feel for Honest people who build a business and just get shit on for it
anyway... Hope this doesn't turn anyone off Glenn or his business and ESP pull their head in and respect their HONEST DEALERS such as Glenn

also everyone on here should jump on this sportscollectorcards and tell him we will be giving negative feedback for any cards that aren't honoured. If he doesn't like it, simple stop pre selling.
I don't mind pre sale of base sets or team base sets they should stop at that!

Its all good Troy. I have had a couple of discussions with ESP today and things are looking really good for this release and future ESP releases are looking even better for everyone!!!!!!
