2012 Round 1 NRL so far; Thoughts??

What does everyone think of the the 2012 NRL season so far?

I have watched 3 games (Dragons v Knights, Broncos v Eesl and Raiders v Storm) and have found them all to be reasonable quality games with good intensity.

I am a massive raiders fan and was disappointed to lose to the Storm in the dying minutes but you can never write off a champion team such as the storm. I think to come back from 12-0 down the Raiders showed great fight and if they had been down 12-0 last year they would have gone on to lose 30-0. Tough game next week for the Raiders away to the Titans!

The Broncos were very impressive and the second half however the eels looked very flat. My smokey for the 8 is the Sharks as I think Carney will have a good year. Gallen is one of the best fowards in the game, big, mobile backrow with good ball skills in Tupou and Smith, only thing missing maybe a good strike centre.

Anyway enough of my thoughts, enjoy the rest of the round and season!!

We will see in Round 14. The Sharks got a good draw... They only have to loose to us once this year. LOL

2 golden point games. Solid defensive win by the Titans. The underdogs this weekend had a crack at their more favoured rivals and shook a few teams up. Round 1, 2012 was a great start to the football season.

Mate that was a good old fashion bonerattler,what's happening to our game back in the days when i played,that was something you patted the players back for,not take him to court,in my opinion it was not intentional and if anything the guy slumped a bit when he saw what was coming.

I dont like blaming refs but we always seem to get the dodgy calls against us.

I got some new material............. In the first 5 years of their involvement in the NRL, the Titans have gotten the wooden spoon once. In thier first 5 years of involvement in the NRL, the Sharks got the wooden spoon twice.
