I don't doubt the results. I've never said that i doubt the results. My only comment is that they could find a way to do it in the open to quiet all the doubters out there. Doing it behind closed doors only encourages the conspiracy theories.

I would pick Drummond with the second selection.

New Orleans have cap room, with Kaman and Landry expiring, and now the top pick. Davis and Okafor, with Ariza at small forward, can certainly defender inside.

Bobcats should trade the pick, there isn't a lot between the second best player in the draft and the sixth.

What I've always loved with NBA draft conspiracy theories ie Ewing to NY in 1985, is that the NBA (Stern) let several 'can't miss' stars go to incredibly small markets (Robinson in 1987 to SAS, Duncan in 1997 to SAS (over the Boston Celtics who had two lottery picks) and Shaquille to Orlando in 1992, even Oden/Durant to Portland/Seattle).

Anyways, it would be quite the enticement to buy the NOH if the #1 pick was included!

If i were the Bobcats, i'd trade the 2nd Pick for like 3rd or 4th Pick to try get something out of it and than Draft Drummond

Drummond simply has an unbelievable amount of Potential but he could have a bit of bust potential

But the bobcats need to take the risk now, instead of getting stuck on reverse

Pretty annoyed that the Nets didn't get a top 3 pick and hence lost the pick to Portland; although it doesn't really matter to me though if DWill doesn't stay haha

2. Bobcats - Beal (A certain owner was a decent SG back in his day)
3. Wizards - MKG
4. Cavs - Robinson (But should take Drummond - I agree with Harsha, this guy could end up a beast, or not)
5. Kings - Drummond (Imagine a frontcourt of Drummond and Cousins oohlala thats nasty, and psycho)

And I agree with the thinking that picks 2 through 5 (maybe even 6) are very equal (very high quality, but not franchise player like Davis) so trading down to 5th or 6th pick and picking up a decent veteran player makes alot of sense.

I bet a few of these people also thought the same of DeMarcus Cousins, as the head case/work ethic issue arises when talking about both of them, and Cousins seems to have got his head right, and Drummond has lost some kilo's since finishing college, another good sign of a player buying in to what is now required of them, but yeah, he could end up no better than say Javale McGee or DeAndre Jordan, who are not plebs, but not top 5 pick material either.
