No way. They sell the idea for D Will to play with Davis and then use all the extra cap savings on bringing in another solid piece.

I personally feel Dwill will move to a contender, even if they do land Dwight it won't be enough to win a championship. They still need another key piece.

• For it to be fixed, the other 13 teams would have to be in on it. So would the independent accounting firm and the selected media members who witnessed it. The call for "fix" would have been made on 2-3 other results including Nets and Kings. The Hornets have been sold. There was no pre-arranged deal - no need for any prearranged deal. The league has to approve the sale but it was made without an underhanded deal that would involve colusion from the other 13 teams.

haha! I just said something similar in another thread!

I don't believe in hanging someone based on speculation, so I lean towards it not being rigged. And this guy is quite logical in thinking exactly how they would need to do it!

So easy for them to do it on live tv rather than behind closed doors to avoid any speculation at all.

Computers are pretty handy these days at number crunching too. They could generate new percentages of getting the no.1 pick after the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ball get picked on live tv. Instead, the NBA do it behind closed doors with only a selected few to watch...makes no sense.
