Haven't posted a mailday thread in a long time. So here's just a recap of some recent stuff I've picked up for my PCs plus some other stuff that's happened along the way! :v:
I'll just start off with the additions to my old PCs.
Channing Frye
A nice exquisite RC, I might've shown this before but I have a crappy memory now that high school's finished and university has 4 month breaks

Anthony Randolph
He hasn't been neglected either! Don't like how the Timberwolves aren't playing him regularly though, at least give him 10 minutes per game instead of 20 and then 0 ==

A few months ago, aussiemjfreak got one and actually outbidded me on it. So it's good to have one in the PC now, and it's now his either
Serge Ibaka
Not much going on with Ibaka. Some of his cards, I don't really like the look of so I've been putting buying them for as long as possible. But I've finished a little mini-set, I guess it's equivalent of Certified's 'rainbow'.
I'm not sure if there is a 1/1 so for as far as I know this is it
Cherry's Advent Pack
Nice stuff there. Great work from Cherry for organising this. From what I've seen, some very very nice cards in those packs too and a smile on children's faces last Christmas too! That Damion James has actually made me watch a few more Nets games this season
2008-09 SP Rookie Threads Set
This set looks like it'll be the first legit one I'm going to complete out of the 8734019274234 that I have going. And so I managed to pick this up from Angpin (cheers for giving me a great price on it too buddy) to almost finish up and complete the big guns that I needed:
Great looking card and last year when I started this set, I never thought I'd actually complete it, dreading the day I'd have to pick up guys like Mayo, Westbrook and Love but I actually have all now and Rose so I'm pretty happy.
Now for another feel-good story off OCT. So Nick (Verse1) actually offered this card to me last week for $15 I think. I thought great, that's a nice way to start off my new PC for Tyler Hansbrough (only collecting rookie stuff so I don't burn myself and my paypal account out). I didn't really have the paypal in yet, so I told him to just hold it for me. So I got enough and set up a deal thread 2 days ago, sending him a PM. No response. Bugged him a bit and got this back:

Naturally you can see, I wasn't impressed. Now I'm a nice guy I think but I'm not a nice guy if you screw me and I can get very angry
But I thought to myself, ah well, Nick's a pretty respected guy so I'd just let it be. Still not quite happy though.

Also thanks a lot to all of you! It was a pretty good year last year, even with its ups and downs, my first year back into cards after a break. Let's hope this year is just as good and even better :v:
