2011 NBA FINALS - Dallas v Miami - SPOILERS within!

Mavs just did what they had to, it wasnt pretty but neither was Miami apart from Wade.

Jason Terry and Jose Barea are real stinkers lately. I am extremely suprised that Roddy Beaubois hasnt got a run as he would quicken the team up considerably. He cant do any worse than Terry, Barea or Stevenson.

Yeah I think when they say they only need 2 of the Big 3 to have a good game, the third of the trio still needs to at least hit double digits. LeBron with 8 points isn't going to cut it.

That said, the supporting players for the Mavericks really stepped up. Terry had 17 and hit some clutch free throws, Barea did some damage with 8, Stevenson 11, Marion really held them in it in the third and he had 16, and Chandler beasting for 13 points and 16 boards. The supporting cast won it for them this game. Marion really kept them in it in the 3rd with I think 3 or 4 consecutive baskets when they had nothing going for them, and Chandler on the boards and being aggressive.

Not too worried as a Heat fan, we're back at level score and I expect the Heat to respond. Couple all that contribution from the Mavs supporting players, with LeBron having a terrible night - and only a 3 point loss. Granted Dirk didn't play great, but he didn't play terribly either. Finished with 21 points and 11 boards on 6/19 shooting.

Bosh started well but disappeared down the stretch, and missed a pair of WIDE OPEN jumpers that would have helped put it away late in the game.

I was expecting the Mavericks to win this one, just couldn't see them letting themselves go down 3-1.

Game 5 should be a cracker!

To help Dirk get better, I'm gonna pack a box full of Bratwurst's, Schnitzel's, Sauerkraut, Pretzels, & some German Beer ... Obviously don't have his address ... So I'll just send It to "Germany" ... Should work. lol

Without seeing the game im calling a Stern conspiracy, he wants 7 games and got in LeBrons ear hence LBJ's 8 points!

And Brent Barry Is right ... ALL Miami had to do was attack the paint, and IF they fouled out Tyson Chandler ... I really think they would of won. Haywood Isn't healthy. So they could of really taken over that paint. Which would of been huge. BUT, Lebron obviously didn't want to play very aggressive tonight.

I told you its a conspiracy and Bron's in on it. He'll turn it on game 5 then let the Mavs get one back in Dallas then he'll be on again in game 7 for the win in Miami in front of their home fans

Indeed It Is. I was answering the guy before me who said that Dirk needs to stop complaining and just play. I said Dirk was not complaining, but It was the Media that told us about all of these things.

LOL! I was actually considering it seeing the way LeBron played today. He just looked so passive and not aggressive. Uncharacteristic the last two games, but then again the Heat won last game. I can't figure it out. I watched the press conference live too, and he said all the right things. Almost too good to be true.

I can only come to two conclusions, and the truth must be one of them:

1. He is actually this incredibly unselfish guy who just wants to win. He's willing to defer, he would rather have the ring than the Finals MVP - all these things he has said etc.

2. He is an egotistical crazy man who is conspiring with the NBA, David Stern and referees to pump him up and win over the masses by scoring 45 points in Game 5 and slaying his personal demons.

Which one is it??

Nah man. It was playoff basketball at it's finest, both teams were going at it to win the game and the refs stood aside and let it play instead of determining the game with whack calls.
Player of the game or at least the 4th quarter has got to be Tyson Chandler. He was WORKING hard to secure the offensive and defensive boards and gave Dallas crucial second chance opportunities and run out the clock. What an amazing Finals so far! Miami just looks like they are cruising though, all this dunks and layups are killing Dallas. But then Miami has found a way to choke in the final few minutes of the game.

So he had an off night and plays with 2 guys who were both going for 20+ wasn't an option?? just sayin......

cant see lebron defering and being so passive in the next game, i was surprised that he wasnt even trying to get to the rim, if he had of and wade attacked a little more too like in the previous game and had chandler in foul trouble heat probably would have won, but they didnt and chandler was a machine and the best player on the floor...average night for the tall german, but he did look pooped in the last quarter, think the flu had caught up to him...
