2011 Champions Signature Rort !!!!

Just to let everyone no one thing !!
There is a rort out there on the signature cards !!
I've bump into one collector and says that he bought all the signature cards from a dealer all unsigned !!
He would not say who he was buying them from ?
I said there is one way of this happenning because select is so strict in there production they cannot afford to mislead the public, i said to him the only way he is going to sell you unsigned signature cards is that if he got all scratched signature's and by taking off the ink carefully they became unsignned get it !!!
So when someone sell's them there is a chance that that's what they have done !!
I said to him i cannot beleave he has sold you a legit set of unsignned signature cards !!
He said that he was going to show me soon left him my number so when he does im going to see them ill give you a update soon as it happens.

i think Girds said something about getting a blank siggie card to go with his signed Gordon. Its easy enough to take ink off but who knows with the select and what they do or who ends up with cards there obviously must be some spares for when players mess up the sigs and stuff. maybe the printers picked up some spares ????

Another interesting rumour is that there is 550 Cases printed with supposedly 3 Signature Cards in each Case. 3 x 550 Cases = 1650 Signature Cards yet there is supposedly 600 of each player - 8 x 600 = 4800 - where is the other 3150 Signature Cards???????? I do not know if these figures are correct, you may be able to shed some more light on it.

6600 boxes for champions would be a very small run for champions. That is usually the amount for the second series. Considering the amount of news agents that have them I'd think there would be alot more boxes than that.

Yeah It's a bit comfusing !!
There are 550 cases 6600 boxes to hobby dealers !!That's 1650 signature cards !!
There are1050 cases12600 boxes to newsagents !! Thats 3150 Signature cards !!
Total 4800 signatures !!
Does that sound right to you now !!

Hi Dan,

Thanks for clearing that up. Obviously they didnt realise there is 2 different runs to the newsagents and hobby dealers.
