Yes, there are still ODI's and Tests to come in South Africa...gee doesn't the prospect of having D. Warner, M. Marsh and P. Cummins at the 2015 World Cup look appealing!
However, the home Test summer begins on 1st December (2 Tests vs New Zealand then 4 Tests vs India), and hopefully this time the national selectors will by then have settled on a line-up that will be bloody hard to defeat. With that in mind, I have had a go at picking my "home" team, with a view to our team becoming uncompromising, determined and hard-nosed (like we used to be).

R. Ponting
M. Clarke
M. Hussey
B. Haddin
M. Johnson
P. Siddle
T. Copeland
D. Bollinger
N. Lyon 12th, to replace Copeland where neccessary.
I want my cricket team to be picked on performance, not have players plucked from "wherever"...you just can't do that for Test matches. Last summer I think we lost a bit of our soul as a Test match team, mostly through the well-publicised selection faults.
