nice work on the anderson silva. + parallel relics. disappointing end when i thought you were going to get a box ELIOT MARSHALL FREE. ill go watch the new NCIS and come back to see the last
hahaha, thats one is fine mate picked it up on ebay already, waiting on about 6 incoming wanderlei cards actually. nice breaks again, where were the eliot marshalls??
So I successfully put through one redemption with Topps, then when I scratched the second card, the code basically shredded and became very hard to read. I tried several different variations with the characters that were hardest to make out, hoping that maybe I would stumble on the correct code. Then Topps locks my account for too many incorrect entries, and until they "investigate" my case, I can't redeem anything else!
As for their policy about giving them store receipts, pack wrappers and box numbers - I would invite them to go through the rubbish bag with seven boxes and and 142 wrappers that I threw out last night.
*sigh*
Hopefully this gets sorted, because I'd hate to have to give up the Gold Gear Relic, even if it is only Tom Lawlor.
Yep, the relic redemptions (thicker cards) are really hard to scratch without ruining the code. Same happened to mine and i had to guess the last 2 letters which luckily i managed to do correctly.
Okay, so I got an email back from Topps saying to just send in the card, and that they'd unlocked my account.
I redeemed the other three I hadn't tried yet and they were fine. Then I tried one more guess for the problem card and it worked! So all good now.
Seems that it's only the thicker cards that shred, and given that Topps replied pretty quickly with a promise to honor the redemption with nothing but the damaged card as proof, I feel a lot better about trusting them in the future.

Thanks for the update. Actually sounds like Topps are trying to do the right thing by us. Now we just have to sit back and wait for them to actually send the (redeemed) cards out.
