Bought 1 hobby box of this product. It's alright, though the player selection in some areas leaves much to be desired. I mean Kevin Pittsnogle? Ricky Rubio? Mateen Cleaves? James Harden? Anyway... did reasonable well with three parallels (Dougherty, King, Laettner), the GU was Isiah Thomas Old School. Now for the mojo. I open the pack and saw redemption card. When I flipped over the card and read the card to be redeemed my jaw dropped, my eyes must haved bulged out of their sockets and I could only make jibberish for about a minute. #121 Big Man on Campus - Michael Jordan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a pull of a lifetime!!!! After I had recovered from the shock and obvious excitement, I said to the comic shop owner, Dee (Dee's books and comics in Belconnen, Canberra) "I don't care if my other auto is kevin pittsnogle. This is the pull of a lifetime." Guess who my other auto was? Yep, you guessed it - Kevin Bloody pittsnogle. Who cares though? I got a jordan!!!!!! Just gotta wait for upper deck to actually send my account password instead of the stupid activation code so i can reserve my card.
 
nice hit... im not really feeling those boxes, they just dont look as good without the nba jerseys. but the Jordan is siick!!
 
Hideous product, but have seen a few MJ or MJ/LBJ redemptions come out lately... what's it numbered to do you know?

Awesome pull, just hope Upper Deck come through with the card for you. But be honest the real excitement was over the Pittsnogle.
 
Not sure what is wrong with Rubio/Harden cards...... :confused:

Anyway..... nice pull mate... I usually get the Pittsnoggle curse as well when open the odd box.... :lol:

Lol!!!! classic, mate. Bloody classic! Nah, it was the jordan. Pittsnogle was just a laugh - especially considering what i'd said before pulling the pittsnogle auto.
 
Shrimpynz - They left quite a few great players (both college and NBA) out of the set. To name a few - Patrick Ewing, Clyde drexler, Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan howard, Reggie Lewis, Kevin McHale, George Mikan, Willis reed, Walt frazier, Derrick Coleman. yet they will go and put un-proven players like Harden and Rubio in the set along with wastes like pittsnogle anad cleaves? It doesn't make sense.

It does say Auto in the redemption right? Because there's a regular Big Man on Campus which isn't auto'ed, but if it is auto'ed then, it is SP to 10! So bigger congrats!
 
Exzibit, yeah - it's the auto, i've already got the regular bigman on campus subset card which is live. Shortprinted to just 10?!!!! Dude, that has made me seriously consider insuring it when it arrives. It was going into a fresh screwdown anyway, but now .... i guess my guesstimate value of $500 was waaaaaay off.
