Received this info tonight on the new FIFA World Cup Soccer Cards.

To Be Released by Panini.
Release date: 12th/ May, 2010

36 packs/ box, 6 cards per pack.
At least 1 FOIL CARD in each pack.

Retail Price - Approx the same as AFL/NRL Champions. $3 per pack

Full Collection: 198 cards.
The 2010 FIFA South Africa World Cup collection includes:
32 Foil cards features 2010 World Cup 32 Federations Team Logo;
71 players common cards;
22 star players metallized cards;
16 Young Stars Rainbow cards;
18 World Cup Commemorative cards features World Cup winners from 1930 to 2006;
18 cards features World Cup Host Countries from 1930 to 2006;
7 Award Winners cards.

Unlike the stock available in other countries (24 packs), the World Cup 2010 for the Australian market is 36 packs per box. This will ensure that the FACTORY BOX is a great chance to finish the full collection or close to the set even though it is not guaranteed.

To elaborate a bit more on this the players are, Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie, Christian Poulsen, Mario Gómez, Lukas Podolski, Jon Dahl Tomasson, Giorgio Chiellini, Javier Zanetti, Diego Milito, Esteban Cambiasso, Carles Puyol, Andrés Iniesta, Lúcio and Adriano.

Unfortunately it seems they were not able to get the more sought after players, Messi, Cristiano, Kaká, etc.
