Hi
For the amount of money you have spent, there is no way you would be able to get $4000 for those folders with all the cards you have on display. With all the common, parallel, foil signature, sketch cards, gem cards and other insert cards plus the folders, your looking at about $300 to $400 if your lucky. You might be better off trying to sell them on eBay,or sell the inserts separately. If I'm wrong with my pricing, other members will let me know.

As a very rough guide, and keeping in mind how subjective pricing is, here is a rough guide. As a side note, if you are not a collector I understand how you can think that by buying hundreds of packets and spending over $1000, a collection is then worth that. The reality is that only higher end numbered cards really maintain and appreciate in value.

08 Champions

A folder and complete base set are still readily available for between $30-$40

The parallels from this release tend to be more sought after and generally fetch $0.75 - $1ea

The foil signatures are about $3-$4ea.

The sketch cards are in the $4-$8 each range depending on team / player

The gems are about $8-$12ea

09 Champions will be very similar in pricing

The jersey cards are $0.50ea

I see a Canberra Double Trouble card in the folder which were quite hard to get, 1:4 boxes from memory. These were continued in 09 Classic and despite not being numbered are limited to 300 each. They should be worth more but rarely go beyond $40 at auction.

If you want to sell, you are best separating into team lots at a minimum. If you auction as one lot, you will struggle to get $150.

Good luck !!
