Anyone notice Mark Thompson complain about the dimensions of Aurora Park? Its 1 metre less in length than the MCG.... and a similar width.... I guess Thommo doesn't think his side can win finals at the G either? Just cos Shell Stadium or whateve rits called these days is a weird shaped oval... Idiot.

ANd he says his side has to make it a tight contest cos thats how Hawthorn plays.... but apart from the Brisbane game the Hawks have tried to make it an open running game....

Geelong have to shut it down to have a chance... as the last two encounters where we out run them proves.

Don't blame Hawthorn as an ugly p-laying style as your excuse for choosing to play ugly football to win (and hey they're likely to win too).... Just admit you gotta use a boring tactic to win man!

That's my vent.

5/8 tipping this round. there were a few highlights this round. lots of great grabs and goals. my favourite would have to be dustin fletchers torp & adam yze's great snap from the boundary.

now, anzac day. pies V bombers. its hard to tip but im going with the bombers. biggest game besides the grand final. should be a good one.

5/8 here too though I needed all three on the final day to get there!!

Highlight for me was Xavier Ellis first AFL goal ahhh gotta enjoy Hawks winning while I can.

Haha....i got 5/8 as well after forgetting and not getting my pick in for the first 3 games. I got the default team (away team) and they happened to win!!

OMG just saw Essendons outfit from the day.... that was one ugly outfit... one awesome win (I tipped them) but one ugly uniform.... I'd be happy for them to always wear their normal uniform... that was horrid....

Well lets see.... since 1963 when Geelong won their last Premiership... Between them Hawthorn and the Kangaroos have won 12 Premierships...

Hey it was just an idea, no need to throw your purse at me. Im looking after the best interests of the hawks. They wont survive in melbourne and when you get chucked out it wont matter how many premierships geelong have lost cos we will still be there with a chance of winning another one, even if it is 100 years away.

See if you merge with the roos, you will become a flying kangaroo. Qantas would give you millions of $$$ in support, and maybe they could mix the dna of a kangaroo and a hawk and get some sort of disfigured freak as a mascot/full forward .....it worked when you mixed a hawk and a pig last time you tried, i believe he was referred to as a dunstall?.

Funny, Hawthorn is the Victorian club getting $15m sponsorship deals over 5 years.... hmmm funny... only one of the most financially sound clubs in the entire AFL... not just Victoria.

Garry Ablett Snr is an absolute tool, imagine if he was playing in todays footy he wouldn't of even lasted longer than a couple of games. And on a side note Ben Cousins drug rehab didnt last long he is soon to return to Australia and is to commence playing again sometime this season. I heard he was spending up to $7000 on drugs per week, shows how professional the WCE administration is in their dealings with Cousins, why would you try to sweep that under a rug when you know eventually it is going to come out. Dick Heads, Wc have been a laughing joke off the field this year as the truth has came out but unfortuantly they still kick everyones ass on the field.

I do hope Judd comes to the Melbourne Football Club.
