Yea I saw a Woolford sell for around the $800 mark a couple of years ago - so it shows even the 'lesser' captains are still holding a lot of value in this product.
From memory I paid $400 for my Woolford back in 2005 - may have even been $300.
Do you feel like selling it for $400??Yea I saw a Woolford sell for around the $800 mark a couple of years ago - so it shows even the 'lesser' captains are still holding a lot of value in this product.

You rarely see captain cards under the $800.... When I see them at that price I buy them..
Best thing to is put money into a tin until you have enough to buy it...... It isn't as bad as just forking out a ridiculous amount of money in one go......
And to tell you the truth... I'm glad they are that expensive and that rare....... Makes getting one REALLY EXCITING...
I'm never gonna finish this set.... But I enjoying trying!!!
Do you feel like selling it for $400??
I would not sell my johns captain for under 1400. I know I will not get that at the moment people are just a little strapped at this point in time. Assure me the market will recover it is just a matter of time. these cards will be worth a fortune as we know there are only 40 of them. If you can hold on to them it will be worth it . Time to buy is knowAs much as I hate to talk down the price of a card I own, this Johns didn't sell recently for $1200 - that's too high for that card. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230917507186
I agree the LLG will go up when people realise that there are only 150 of each player. The immortal sketches are back to there original value of $40 to $60 and there are 750 sets of these . There are only 150 sets as we know only and 150 people that can own a set. Happy buyingI think the Black LLG's are gonna be a bit the same..... Not as expensive though...
