Probably more a question for you seasoned collectors:

Given the limited release of this signature set, how often do they come up for sale individually or maybe a set broken up?

Just asking because the only Betham I have seen in 9mths is Cardzones for $950, and thats a touch steep I think

Would be keen to hear thoughts on availability and pricing

Thanks in advance

i think ive only ever seen one or two for sale. (bethan)
price depends how much someone prepared to pay.
The fittler and johns were going for nearly $1800 at height of demand

Yeah I totally appreciate that Warriors are one of the cheaper teams to collect. $1800 for a card, bit hard to justify lol.

When have you seen the Johns go for that? I've only ever seen it go for slightly over $1000. If you're patient (it might take a few years!) you should be able to get the Betham for under that price.

You rarely see captain cards under the $800.... When I see them at that price I buy them..

Best thing to is put money into a tin until you have enough to buy it...... It isn't as bad as just forking out a ridiculous amount of money in one go......

And to tell you the truth... I'm glad they are that expensive and that rare....... Makes getting one REALLY EXCITING...

I'm never gonna finish this set.... But I enjoying trying!!!

Yea I saw a Woolford sell for around the $800 mark a couple of years ago - so it shows even the 'lesser' captains are still holding a lot of value in this product.

From memory I paid $400 for my Woolford back in 2005 - may have even been $300.

I think the Black LLG's are gonna be a bit the same..... Not as expensive though...

Do you feel like selling it for $400?? :D

I love that money into a tin advice lol

If anyone is keen to do a bulk buy at the end of the year (like off Cardzone) Im sure they would give us a reduced rate per card? Any good business would, not sure how CZ operate though!

Like I'd be keen for the Betham (maybe Jarrad for the Woolford???), save my pocket money up for the year lol

As much as I hate to talk down the price of a card I own, this Johns didn't sell recently for $1200 - that's too high for that card. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230917507186
I would not sell my johns captain for under 1400. I know I will not get that at the moment people are just a little strapped at this point in time. Assure me the market will recover it is just a matter of time. these cards will be worth a fortune as we know there are only 40 of them. If you can hold on to them it will be worth it . Time to buy is know

I agree the LLG will go up when people realise that there are only 150 of each player. The immortal sketches are back to there original value of $40 to $60 and there are 750 sets of these . There are only 150 sets as we know only and 150 people that can own a set. Happy buying
