2003 scanlens

I know a bloke who bought a set of un numbered 03 Scanlens.Ive never heard of such a thing. He feels they would be worth 20% plus their market value.
Two questions, have any one heard of these cards and what do you think thier value would be or do you agree with his estimation.

No idea, didn't know they existed. Would have thought they would be easy enough for a pro to duplicate as they are very plain cards, i would be sus on any that weren't numbered, they couldn't be promo's either as only hird and buckley were released as promo's.

If the prices of the un-numbered NRL Captain Sigs from 2004 on ebay are anything to go by (and the set is authentic) then it will be worth a fair bit less (maybe 20%?) of the numbered versions.
