Strike is a far superior quality. Alot of the players have said to me that Strike are a much nicer card than Champions. For me, There really is no comparison other than the fact that both sets are becoming repetative and boring
Im of the understanding they just paid a licensing fee to use the Scanlen's name.
Scanlen's got bought by Regina which is now ultimately owned by Nestle.
FYI - Scanlen's only left the card market after Regina (NZ) was bought out by a company called Amuri corporation bought them in 1993 and decided that card making was not part of core operations.

Strike is obviously a better quality however both have a lack of inserts and insert ratios IMO
Champions only had 7 inserts per box (7.25 when you factor in the 1 Sig per 4 boxes) 7 inserts from 36 packets just isn't enough.
Strike i was hopeing they would up the ante a bit but instead they removed parallels and again made the inserts uninspiring. You are left opening so many packets with nothing but commons in them.
Same issue...both series are skimp on inserts and for anyone buying loose packets, especially the kids/families that series 1 is catered for, only 7:36 is disapointing
