2000 Logo cards??

Can anyone tell me why the club logo cards cost so much? Where they limited or inserts or something? They always go for over $10 & I just can't understand such a high cost for a team logo

I am not sure of the production run for the 2000 series of NRL cards but it seems that all the 2000 cards hold their value really well not just the logo cards. I don't remember the ratio but I think they were only 1 or 2 a box.

According to cardzone, odds were 1:8 with only 1,600 of each logo card released. The Canberra card is $14, same with the Warrior one. Storm is $25.

Hahaha - i spent and easy $200 putting this set together. For some reason the Storm one is really hard to find.

Never thought of it like that though with the logo's

The production run for the 2000 series was 5000 boxes with as previously mentioned the logo's 1:8 so 4 a box. But that release was not the most limited so I have no idea why the costs for that series are so high..........just supply and demand I reckon. For those interested, here are the productions runs for the first 5 years of Select, 2000 to 2005

2000 - 5000 boxes
2001 - 9000 boxes
2002 - 8000 boxes
2003 - 5500 boxes
2004 - 6000 boxes
2005 Series 1 - 7500 boxes
2005 Series 2 - 3500 boxes

5000 boxes
9 cards per pkt $5 pkt
22 cards stars of origin 1:5 packs
14 cards team logos 1:8 packs
11 cards anzac test heroes 1:11 packs
9 cards signature redemptions 1 per box 500 of each
100 cards only legend sig R gasiner 1:1800 packs (only need this for set but doubt i will ever own this)

I like them - they have the first grade squad for that year printed on the back. You just never got anything like that afterwards.
