2000 case share

look i dont have permission for any case share as yet but just getting an idea if people would be interested. dk collectibles has a case of 2000 select cards. from what i remember there is 12 boxes per case. would there bbe anybody who would be interested in going in and purchasing a box depending if we can the case for the right price. i dont know what he would be willing to sell it for. i believe a box of these cards will sell for approx $200.00. let me know what people think

I dare say Dan would probably want well over $200 a box.

I was thinking we could do a case share as well...great minds think alike or more likely fools never differ......obviously I would be keen as well

This is the reason we don't like people posting up expressions of interest on a group buy. If you don't have the exact costings, it is completely pointless putting up a post.

Get the costs of the boxes confirmed first and then see if a trusted member here would be interested in running a group buy, or have Dan offer the case up for sale as a group purchase himself.

Good point made by Graham, would everyone be agreeable if I spoke to Dan about the possibility of a group buy and if he is agreeable then to organise the case share?

OK, i have done a bit of research on box prices etc and I spoke with elusive winger not 5 minutes ago about what he expects his box price to be. Steve from cardzone has factory sealed boxes for $350 BUT he has no stock and can't get more.

elusive winger is looking at $400 + a box so the min case price would be $4800 - that's IF the box price is 400 dollars.

If we get any more serious about this share then people must realise that at that sort of a box price you cannot make money on the cards unless u pull the gasnier redemption, also not every box is guaranteed to give u a base set also.

Have a think about it and let me know via this thread if there is serious interest in this case before we pursue it further.

I tend to agree, as much as I would love to say that I have busted a box of this series, I don't think I could personally go to 400 a box. Having said that I tend to think that this case share idea is dead in the water, I know EW does not want to let the case go for any less than 400..........so bar a miracle, or a lotto win........... I will never get to bust a box of this series.

I priced a case of 2005 power, they work out to 200 a box (they are 295 if u buy a box at a time), redemptions are good for this series, league leader signature, rising star signature, inspirations and more...........a very nice case indeed.

Id say more like $350.00+.....as near impossible to find!
