Test squad: Michael Clarke (capt), David Warner, Phillip Hughes, Usman Khawaja, Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey, Brad Haddin, Peter Siddle, Ben Cutting, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc, James Pattinson.
Copeland 0/46 from 23 overs (2 runs an over) and 2/30-odd of 25 overs in 2nd dig. How you can play Tests in Sri Lanka 6-8 weeks ago to nuthin' is beyond me.
where is pat cummins, that guy is the future of cricket. i also might put a small wager on NZ, one of the worst teams selected in a long time, just my opinion. when is tim payne returning?

I laughed when I read about the "brutal" training Session today, poor Huss had to fend off the young bucks in the nets...augers well that the three quicks are so hungry.
Black caps are amazingly good value at the TAB $5.60!!! best chance they have had of breaking that hoodoo they have of tests in Australia but i still think they will choke lol

I think we will win, I think Punter will score big, Cutting is on his home deck which I think is a massive advantage. Siddle will get 6-7 wickets for the game. I hope Warner makes runs so he can replace Hughes.I think NZ is a great "warm up" for us before we take on the Indians.
My main concern is that Lyon will get torn apart by the Indians this summer.
Talk of Clarke playing all 4 quicks. I don't think that's a good idea, especially with Copeland not in the XII, as Starc, Pattinson and Cutting are all attacking spearheads rather than being able to tie up an end; that's the job of Lyon and Siddle.
