Oh, it's a generic album but the cards are are the individuals clubs cards from the different 96 Dynamic releases, so no new cards as such!

I think I understand now, why are we calling it the 1997 OPTUS Cup Team Album the inaugural Optus sponsorship was 1996, super league 97. Is there another one from 1997? Apart from the letter and cards there's nothing on the Album itself is there?

Cards have been pulled from other sets from the images of Canberra. Brett Mullins is from the 1996 Signature Gold and Laurie Daley is the Series 2 MVP.

Can I just add in your title you were talking about the 1997 Optus Cup. The images and certificates clearly state the inaugural 1996 Optus Cup ARL.

That's my take on it at the moment. Interestingly if this release came out in 97 that the MVP card is #2.
