Finally completed this 32 card set after about six or seven years of collecting it!

Yeah, it definitely feels good ... when I think about where I was back when I first bought a few from this set on ebay - seems so long ago!!!

I've just realised that this set can't be 1992 as is listed everywhere ... because Jason Martin didn't join the Knights until 1993! And there's a pic of him obviously from a game in a Knights jersey.

Brunker left at the end of 1993, so that places this set as being released mid to late 1993.

Nice investigative work, it's the same design (small variation) as the Fielders set from 1993 as well so it would make sense, although why release a full set including the knights and an individual Knights set in the same year?

I haven't got the 93 fielders St George set its hard to find, but just noticed it has Matthew Elliot in it and he didn't play with the Dragons in 93 he finished up in 92 but it does have Jason Martin for Newcastle so maybe set done before Elliot left and the set we thought was 92 is in fact late 93..

I guess maybe they thought Elliott would play at some stage in 1993? I read his wikipedia and it said he retired due to ongoing injuries. Or they messed up like Select did with that Lincoln Withers gem card a few years back when he'd already gone to England!
