Managed to pick up a few sets in the past months, all pretty much Near Mint except a few I am chasing (see my want list!!) but most are still good-excellent.
The 1980 set is short 5 cards plus 3 of the extra cards #169, #170 and #173. The 1981 set is short the Manly & Norths checklists plus I have not got any of the 3 error cards. Both of these sets came from a collector in Perth via post.
The 1982 Qld set is complete including checklists. Late last year when I was in Brisbane I trained to Robina in the Gold Coast to meet a collector and pick up this set.
Few pics attached with more thumbnails attached too.
I have always tried to find and buy the best you can get. Individual cost a fortune but some times it is well worth it. I believe it works out cheaper to buy the best than to buy a set and upgrade it to near mint or better. The only down side of it is you have to be cashed up. Most of the time the best sets are owned by serious collectors that have collected the whole set in mint.
